Oct 3, 2017. #9. there is a YouTube video on how to take the casing off the old motor and put it on the windings part of the new motor. When a drone lands hard on the camera, it pushes the sensors in the yaw motor up against the edge of the casing. This destroys the sensor.
Congratulations on making it to 94! Most gimble problems after minor crash or even hard landing is the camera ribbon cable. Watch YouTube videos for instructions to replace and be sure to only use original oem cable. Aftermarket that say "for dji phantom" will not work most of the time. When I go into the iPhone app, it tries to connect but doesn't show the camera . The blue connection lights are on in the upper right corner.

The up/down buttons in the app work fine and the camera moves but the dial stops controlling the gimbal If I close down the App the dial still does not work.. it only starts working again if I reboot the Phantom. Oh yeah I am using assistant 3.6 and RC 1.2.
Hi ,DelIf you are using the Phantom 3 Pro/Adv , please connect your device to the RC with a compatible cable . The RC should be on and you can get access to the camera by then , after that link the RC with the aircraft in the DJI Go . If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device.

There is nothing you can replace, except perhaps the entire gimbal. It can be solved by an adjustment, but DJI do not reveal where that adjustment is. To cure it, it should be sent in for repair.
