Season pass is pretty outlined as to what it is and most the time, they tell you before you purchase that you will be getting "This" in the season pass. That basically means you are paying for content, but most of the content is around 4-5 packs for armor, weapons and mounts. The other two are the DLCs The hidden and the secrets of the pharaohs.
I bought the deluxe version, but I forgot how much the season pass was. Let’s say it’s $40. The only thing I bought besides the game were the two expansions. That was $30 total. So the other $10 was cosmetic items (weapons, outfits, skins etc.) which wasn’t worth it in my opinion.

Yeah, the season pass IMO is not worth it. I wish I'd known the DLCs would be $30 when I bought the season pass. I kind of assumed, like Syndicate, that the season pass would be a great value, instead it was $10 more than the DLCs for a whopping two content packs, none of which I ended up using.
Best. Stonedrake • 5 yr. ago. They are overpowered at the start, but as you level, you'll find other stuff that you'll prefer to use. Remember weapons you fine are keyed to your level, so unless you pay to upgrade the DLC gear, its power will dwindle. The real benefit to them is that they are Legendary, and so they have more add on effects
When season passes first came out it wouldn't make sense for the "season" to be one season of dlc when the norm/plan was only to have a single season of dlc. Where the word season in season pass came from was the game not the dlc because nobody would bother calling it a season if the norm was only one.
